Digfer the toy dinosaur was excited to learn more about his and other species of dinosaur. Little G explained to Digfer that every day the Dinosaur Train travels through a time tunnel to the Jurassic, Triassic, or Cretaceous time periods and Buddy, Tiny, Shiny and Don go on adventures to learn about new species of dinosaurs.

Being a brand new dinosaur toy, Digfer had many things to learn, so Little G spent countless hours telling him about the things he had already learned by watching the show. He shared the dinosaur names and facts about the Argentinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Pteranodon, Troodon, Stygimolochs, Corythosaurus, Triceratops, T.Rex, Quadruped, Peteinosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Deinonychus, Spinosaurus, Ornithomimus, Velociraptor, Microraptor, Parasaurolophus, Allosaurus, Cryolophosaurus, Einiosuarus, Hespernornis, Archeopteryx, Lesothosaurus, Einiosaurus, Hesperornis, Proganochelys, Eoraptor, Amargasaurus, Iguanodon, Kentrosaurus, Lambeosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Masiakasaurus, Euoplocephalus, Daspletosaurus, Maiasaura, Styracosaurus, Elasmosaurus, Cretoxyrhina, Michelinoceras, and Pliosaurus. Little G’s parents were amazed at his ability to memorize dinosaur names and the wealth of scientific knowledge that he had already learned just by watching the Dinosaur Train TV Show. It was obvious to them that dinosaur toys for kids were going to be a big hit.

Little G considered himself to be a young paleontologist since he knew a little bit about all of these species from his dinosaur learning toys and was eager to learn more. He learned interesting information and facts about dinosaurs from Dr. Scott the Paleontologist during the Dinosaur Train TV Show. Digfer and Little G watched the Dinosaur Train TV show every day, learning more and more about dinosaur species and enjoying every minute of it. Although Little G had many new stuffed dinosaur toys that he had received for Christmas, Digfer the big dinosaur toy was his absolute favorite; it was the start of a wonderful friendship and they would share many adventures and stories to come with his other dinosaur toys for toddlers.

The walls were plastered with dinosaur pictures! For starters, there were several species of dinosaur on nice dinosaur wallpaper that Little G’s parents had helped him put up earlier in the year. The wall paper showed a picture of the species and the name of the species just below it. That way Little G could read the name of the dinosaur to memorize all of the dinosaur names. Little G just loved pictures of dinosaurs because he could make up his own dinosaur adventure stories and tell them to Digfer for hours on end. He had a few framed dinosaur pictures and a couple of dinosaur posters on his wall too.

On Little G’s birthday, he had a bunch of friends over for a very special dinosaur party. The dinosaur party theme was of course to dress up like your favorite dinosaur species and then play dinosaur party games and eat dinosaur cake. The dinosaur party games were a big hit, but all of Little G’s friends loved playing in his room the most since it was so well decorated. The dinosaur party was a lot of fun and even Digfer had fun playing all of the toy dinosaur games.

At the end of the dinosaur party, Little G handed out some dinosaur party favors to all of his friends as they left to go back home. Each of the dinosaur kids went home with their very own dinosaur picture to hang on their wall at home. All of the friends could hardly wait to get back home, hang their pictures of dinosaurs and begin working on decorating their rooms with cool dinosaur room decor too, especially some dinosaur bedding for boys. Little G had a great birthday and was so glad that Digfer and his other dinosaur toys could show all of his friends a really good time, dinosaur style!

Excitement filled the air as they played one of the dinosaur video games called “Pteranadon Fishing”. Little G and Digfer loved to play that game. They played for almost 10 minutes and then decided to try another of the dinosaur video games. The next game that they tried was another dinosaur game called “Hungry Hungry Herbivore” that had Little G and his toy dinosaur Digfer and other stuffed dinosaur toys rolling in the aisles from all of the humorous fun. They both had a great time playing dinosaur games and looked forward to logging in again later to play some more.

Just as they were about to log off to go watch their dinosaur movies, Digfer noticed another button on the PBSkids.org website. It said “Field Guide”. After following the link, they learned a lot of super cool dinosaur facts. They learned about dinosaur species and even saw some toy dinosaur bones and enjoyed the educational content almost as much as the dinosaur video games and other dinosaur games. Little G and Digfer were committed to learning and educating themselves as much as possible about dinosaurs so that they could talk dinosaurs with their friends and someday become paleontologists just like Dr. Scott the Paleontologist from the Dinosaur Train TV Show. They planned to play with their dinosaur learning toys often!

After learning a lot of dinosaur facts, Digfer was really ready to go watch their dinosaur movies and play with their dinosaur toys for kids, but there was one last button that Little G discovered that brought them to dinosaur videos. Digfer was so excited to see that they could play Dinosaur train episodes and clips from the show anytime at the click of a button. The dinosaur video clips were fun to watch over and over again. Little G and Digfer the toy dinosaur thanked their parents for letting them log on to PBSkids.org and they looked forward to logging back in soon so that they could play more Dinosaur Train Games.

One of Little G’s favorite things to do was to put together dinosaur puzzles. He and Digfer put together a 25-piece dinosaur puzzle in a matter of minutes. It was almost as fun as the free dinosaur coloring page, but it required quite a bit of patience to put the dinosaur puzzle pieces together just right. Digfer especially liked putting in the very last piece, the one that made the dinosaur puzzle complete. Digfer and Little G stepped back and looked at it, they both really liked this puzzle, since it just so happened to be a picture of a young paleontologist’s toy box, which included toy dinosaurs and a dinosaur bones coloring page.

After finishing up the dinosaur puzzle, Little G showed Digfer his library of dinosaur books. Little G loved to read, so he began reading all of the dinosaur books that he knew how to read to Digfer. They both really liked the dinosaur picture books that usually included a dinosaur coloring book page. Since they could just look at the pictures of dinosaur species and share what they had learned about them and sometimes make up stories of their own about them, reading dinosaur books helped them both to grow their imagination and helped them learn more about dinosaurs too.

Digfer was having such a good time trying out all of the dinosaur activities that Little G totally forgot about his dinosaur DVD collection. Little G pulled out his dinosaur DVD and popped it in and then they kicked back and watched a great episode of Dinosaur Train on his dinosaur DVD player. Digfer and Little G had a great time with dinosaur coloring pages, dinosaur puzzles, dinosaur books and watching the dinosaur train DVD. After all of these great dinosaur activities, Digfer and Little G were so tired that they each took a long nap so they could get up and do a few more dinosaurs coloring pages.

Little G had a few other dinosaur toys already, but he wanted to get as many of the Dinosaur Train toys as possible, including the Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Spinosaurus, Velociraptor, Allosaurus, and Pliosaurus, just to name a few. Of course he wanted them all so that he could set up all of his Dinosaur Train toys and play with the dinosaur action figures. Digfer the toy dinosaur loved to play with the dinosaur figures and dinosaur toys too. For next Christmas, Little G was going to ask his parents for the Dinosaur Train track and steam engine. He was excited about playing out episodes from the show with this dinosaur toys for toddlers and yelling out things that the conductor always said, like “time tunnel, time tunnel approaching” or “all aboard”. Difger and Little G would have so much fun with a toy train track so they could play pretend Dinosaur Train.

Little G had almost everything “dinosaur” that a kid could imagine. Except he didn’t have Dinosaur Train apparel, such as Dinosaur Train t-shirts, Dinosaur Train backpacks, a Dinosaur Train lunchbox or other Dinosaur Train merchandise. Since back to school sales were starting soon, Little G was relieved to hear that he would be able to dress in style wearing characters from his favorite tv show. He asked his parents to help him find Dinosaur Train apparel and Dinosaur Train merchandise and other Dinosaur Train stuff for back to school, such as notebooks, binders, pencils and more.

When the Dinosaur Train toys finally arrived Digfer and Little G were absolutely thrilled and spent countless hours playing with these fun and exciting dinosaur learning toys and dinosaur action figures. One day at school, for show and tell, Little G brought along his favorite toy dinosaur, Digfer, and together they showed off all of their Dinosaur Train toys for all of his classmates to see, and of course Little G proudly wore his Dinosaur Train apparel and other Dinosaur Train merchandise every school day. Nothing could beat these dinosaur toys for kids and pretty soon many of his friends had them too.
